Editorial policy
How the rules, odds and guide pages on Alpine Reel Room get written and checked. Last updated 14 August 2026.
Who writes this content
Guides, rules explanations and odds tables on Alpine Reel Room are written by our own editorial desk. We don’t publish outsourced or unreviewed AI-generated pages, invented statistics, or fabricated quotes and testimonials.
What we base it on
Game rules and odds come directly from the mathematics of the game as we’ve built it — for example, the odds table on Midway Dice Duel is calculated from the 36 equally likely outcomes of two dice, not copied from a third party. Historical and factual claims on pages like Games Around the World are limited to information that’s widely documented and verifiable; if we can’t confirm something, we leave it out rather than guess.
How often it’s checked
Rules and odds pages are reviewed whenever the underlying game code changes, and otherwise checked at least once a year for accuracy. The “last updated” date at the top of each policy and guide page reflects the most recent substantive check or change.
How we handle errors
When we find or are told about an error, we correct the page and note the correction on our corrections page. We don’t quietly rewrite factual claims without acknowledging that a change was made.
No formal review board
Alpine Reel Room is a small site. There’s no external editorial board or panel — just our own editorial desk taking responsibility for what gets published, and a working contact address for anyone who spots a problem.
